DJ BAM's Bio
His interest in spinning records began at an early age. He believes he was around 10 when he dug into his father's enormous record collection. Those compilations now all belong to him, including his additions that now hold a variety of music ranging from Jazz, Hip-Hop and R & B to Alternative. When asked what he enjoys spinning the most, he says "Anything that will move the crowd". Bam rocked his first house party at 13 and since then has evolved into a master of sound. He is currently working on Producing/Engineering several artists, and also spins at multiple venues throughout Los Angeles.
DJ Experience:
At 17, he began spinning at various NY clubs such as: The Class, 94 West, Mothers and Happy Club.
At19, he moved to Los Angeles from NY and began spinning vinyl for clubs such as Moguls, Club Checca, Martini Lounge, Diamond Club, Viper Room, The House of Blues and The Key Club.
Small spots on The Beat Los Angeles Radio Station.
He helped to establish and spun for a Web radio show called “Coast to Coast Hip Hop Show.â€
In the summer of 2001, cruised around playing music for venues throughout California in a promotional van for the Truth organization.
Many Weddings, receptions, events and parties
Competed in many DJ Competitions, such as: DMC, ITF, Guitar Center and various independent battles.
Spun at the Warp Tour, Kids Choice Awards, Summer Jam in Los Angeles, South By Southwest in Austin many other events around the country
Member of the DIGIWAXX RECORD POOL which allows him to receive brand new music daily.
Accomplishments: Holds a degree in Sound Engineering from Soundmasters Recording/Engineer School, in a addition to a Protools Certificate from LARW and is now a Sound Engineer in music and post-production.
