John Rickman III - aka DJ Exzile of Twisted Enigma - has been living and breathing music since the early 90's. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, his unique style of mixing all types of Breakbeats, including Dark Florida Breaks, Miami Hard-Hitting
Electro Bass, E-Hop or Booty Breaks, even BreakStep (today's newest flavor of Breaks with Dubstep influence), has gained him a dedicated following not only in
the Atlanta Scene, but throughout the Southeast and across the USA. He consistently tears up the dance floor with his technical style of mixing, beat juggling, and amazing track selection. Some say he is the darkest, dopest Breaks DJ on the scene. He is one DJ you do not want to miss!
In 2007, he entered a nationwide DJ contest to compete for sponsorship of Toyota’s Scion brand. DJ Exzile scorched the competition, elevating his fiery breaks mix all the way to 10th place out 238 entries in the nation. He held tenure at several prestigious venues, and was awarded exclusive residency at Jillian’s (aka Dave & Buster’s), Purple Rain, and Area 51 Teen Club. His promo mixes are featured on internet radio stations such as Nasty Scratch Records - www.NastyScratchRecords.com –and Megatron Electro Records - www.facebook.com/MegatronElectroRecords, as well as college radio stations including WUTK (The Urban Jungle) broadcasting from Knoxville, TN on 90.3 FM. DJ Exzile also spins live on GA Tech’s WREK 91.1 FM (EDM Sound System) and University of Georgia’s WUOG 90.5 FM. He has continued to decimate dance floors live in Knoxville, Nashville, Birmingham, Tampa, Orlando, Hayesville, Greenville, and Asheville, and even Albuquerque, NM.
