MANILA MIX OFF DJ CONTEST PRESENTED BY CAPTAIN MORGAN ORIGINAL SPICED RUM
SUBMIT:
Send your mixtape to alex@musicmgmt.com on or before September 14. Voting process begins September 15, so be sure to submit early to get a head start. Name the mixtape MANILA MIX Project Competition with a minimum of 5 tracks in the mix. Also include a track listing and a 3-sentence bio.
SHORTLIST:
The best mixes will be posted on ManilaMixOff.com, where fans and followers of the DJs can listen, favorite, comment and campaign for their favorite mixes. DJs will be judged on factors (including but not limited to) plays, favorites, positive feedback, tune selection, originality and technical ability. DJ must also be a resident of the Philippines.
FINALS NIGHT:
To be considered for the finals night, DJs must gain over 100 plays. They must be able to successfully use the tools available online to promote their mixes. The top DJs will battle it out in front of a live audience in one of Manila premier nightclubs on the first week of October. Winner gets to play a 30-minute set at the concert on 10.10.12 to a packed crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena, and gets 4 VIP tickets for their friends and a chance to meet the celebrtiy DJ The final decision will be made by the organizers (MMI, AEDI and Saga Events) and a guest judge.
